Jose Carratalá is a Liverpool-based typeface designer and graphic design director at Undo & Redo studio. He studied graphic design at the Murcia College of Design in Spain. He first began in the field working for multiple studios in both, Murcia (Spain) and later in London. After 15 years, in 2019 he further pursued a specialization in typography, and he graduated with an MA in Typeface Design at the University of Reading, UK. With a multiscript approach, his work is focused on Greek and Latin. Right after participating in an ATypI conference, he initiated his new professional career working on lettering assignments for numerous brands as well as a type advisor. In recent years he has been developing his own typefaces and publishing them with other foundries.
